Founder and President
Eli Turkienicz, B.SC., LLB
Eli Turkienicz has spent his entire 30-plus-year career — almost — as a real estate developer and investor, successfully launching and completing dozens of multi-million-dollar projects, and gaining expertise in everything from land acquisition, to site plan development, to permits and construction.
A lawyer by training who obtained his LLB at Osgoode in 1988 (after a B.SC. from the University of Toronto), Eli’s next two decades were with Milton Turk and Sons, where he grew his family development firm’s portfolio to include the acquisition and construction of commercial and industrial buildings and condominiums, multi-storey office buildings, and detached and semi-detached residential homes. In 2010 Eli launched Pinemount Holdings, expanding his reach to the rental housing market across and beyond the GTA, with 1 Million Square Feet and 100's of units either built or planned to date.
Eli leads the firm’s operations, playing an active and intimate role with investors, partners and lenders. The industry is Eli’s passion, and he keeps abreast of its evolution and changing market conditions. His brief foray outside the real estate world was to pursue another passion — food and food innovation— by launching a disruptive and highly-publicized Toronto restaurant concept.
